Meet the Team
Our team members attend numerous continuing education seminars to update our knowledge and techniques. We have 188 years of combined dental experience! We are dedicated to providing each patient with quality care. Although we take our work seriously, we pride ourselves in providing a fun atmosphere for our patients. We want you to enjoy your visits to our office and to feel comfortable with the treatment you receive. As a team, we are committed to providing a unique personal experience for each of our patients and their families.
We are proud to be an AOAC team certified practice. This designation is provided by a leading education and training program for the orthodontic profession. Extensive time, study and testing are required to pass this program and our practice has met the requirements for their team certification. You are qualified hands when you select our practice as your choice orthodontic provider.
Kim - I have worked for Dr. Childers as a Scheduling Coordinator since 1998. I live in Benton with my husband Dennis. We have two grown children. Our son Matthew and his wife Davee live in Benton with their dog Jackson . Our daughter Allyson, along with her husband Ryan, live in West Frankfort, Il. They are both Dr.'s of chiropractic with a practice in West Frankfort. We are members of Immanuel Baptist Church in Benton. Things I enjoy doing are shopping, outdoor activities, and special times with my family and friends.

Glenda - I have worked for Dr. Childers as a Document/Scheduling Coordinator since 1999. I live in Benton with my husband Ken, and we have two grown children. Our daughter Lesley and her husband Matt have three children Drew, Cailin, and Brooke. They live in Nashville, TN. Our son Chad and his wife Jacqueline have two children, son Zion Kain and daughter Azure Quinn. They live in Franklin, TN. I enjoy spending time with my kids, grandkids, family and friends, shopping the antique stores, and motorcycle riding.

Michelle - I began working for Dr. Childers in 2000. I currently hold the positions of Treatment Coordinator and Public Relations Coordinator. I am a 1995 graduate of SIU-C. I reside in Herrin with my husband Clinton, daughter Kayla, and son Chase. I enjoy watching my daughter perform in musicals and my son play baseball. I also enjoy attending church activities, decorating, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Susan - I have worked for Dr. Childers as a Lab Technician since 1992. My husband Randy and I reside in Benton. We have two daughters, Brooke and Rachel. We have two granddaughters Mia and Kayla. Denice - I am a certified orthodontic Assistant and have worked for Dr. Childers since 1995. I live in DuQuoin with my husband Michael and our two daughters Grace and Josie, and a son, Jake. I enjoy spending time with my kids and being with family.

Myers, Florida, with her husband Chad, they have two children, Cody and Kaylee. Jennifer lives in Kansas City, MO. Zach also lives in Kansas City, MO. with his wife Dawn and they have a daughter, Sophia. I enjoy horseback riding, traveling, spending time with friends and family, especially my little grandkids!

Misty - I am a certified orthodontic assistantand have worked for Dr. Childers since 1999. I love my job and look forward to helping my patients create a beautiful smile! I live in Benton with my husband Justin, and our two sons, Asher, 7 and Drew, 3. We are members of Whittington Church. I really enjoy spendingtime with my family and playing outside with my boys. In my spare time, I enjoy cake decorating.
Donica - I am a licensed and certified orthodontic Assistant and have worked for Dr. Childers since 2001. I live in West Frankfort with my husband Tim and our two year old daughter Tymber. In our spare time we enjoy traveling and going to the drag strip.

Heather - I am a certified orthodontic Assistant and have been Clinical Coordinator for Dr. Childers since 2002. I live in Ashley, IL. with my husband Louie and children, Kelsea, Gage, and Aiden. I like what I do because I get to see all of the fantastic smiles that we help Dr. Childers create! In my spare time I enjoy watching my kids play soccer, 4-wheeler riding, and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy - I have worked for Dr. Childers as Financial Coordinator since 2004. I have three grown children. Michelle lives in Leroy, IL, with her husband Brian and daughters, Sarah and Krysta; Christine lives in Bonnie, IL, with her husband Jerrod and children McKenna and Evan; and my son Phillip lives in Mt, Vernon, IL. I enjoy playing golf, working in my yard, and especially visiting with my children and grandchildren as often as possible.

Cailey - I am a certified orthodontic Assistant, and have worked for Dr. Childers since 2007. My husband Todd and I live in Raleigh. We are planning to start a family soon! I really enjoy my job and helping my patients achieve their beautiful smile. In my spare time I enjoy competing in rodeos and barrel races. I also like to spend time with my family and friends.

Stephanie - I am a certified orthodontic assistant and I returned to work for Dr. Childers in 2006. My husband Dale and I live in Mulkeytown with our 4 year old daughter Madyison. I also have a 17 year old stepson, Dustin who stays with us part-time. I enjoy gardening, cooking, and spending time with my family.

Sherry - I am a Treatment Coordinator and have worked for Dr. Childers since 2009. I am also a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have a long history in the dental/orthodontic field. I live in Herrin with my husband Bill and two sons, Nicholas and Brendan. Nicholas is now a student at U of I and Brendan goes to Herrin High school. I am very happy to be back in orthodontics and enjoy seeing some of my past patients bringing in their children! I enjoy watching my boys sporting activities, singing, playing in a hand bell choir and spending time with friends.
